Dani Tenberg is a senior double majoring in Marine Science and Biology and has been working in the lab for the past two years studying microbiomes from various species of stony coral. Currently, she is working on a project regarding the microbiome changes of 4 stony coral species in response to exposure to Stony Coral Tissue Loss Disease at different time points. Through this, she is using various culturing, microscopy, and molecular techniques to expose and investigate microbiomes. She wishes to pursue genealogy and marine microbiology throughout her graduate career which she will begin in the Fall of 2023.
