Kelly Peebles
Research Associate III
Kelly is primarily responsible for supervising and coordinating fieldwork activities and for providing laboratory management support. She is broadly interested in marine conservation biology and natural resources management, and actively works to both facilitate and support ongoing research initiatives in the Coral Reef Futures Lab.
Kelly is an AAUS University of Miami science diver and PADI divemaster. She spent four yearsteaching the Scientific Small Boating course at the University of Miami and is also a USCG certified master/captain. Kelly graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 2008 with a B.S. in Biology and certificate in Environmental Studies, and earned a MPS degree in Tropical Ecosystem Management at the University of Miami’s Rosenstiel School in 2015.
