M.S. Student
Marine Biology & Ecology
Rob is a master’s student in the Coral Reef Futures Lab. Before joining, he completed his B.S. in Biology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2020. While there, he conducted research in the Vander Zanden Lab at the Center for Limnology on the ecological effects of freshwater invasive species such as zebra mussels.
Rob is interested in the physiological manipulation of corals using stressful conditions. Currently, he is exploring the effects of potential northern range expansion for Acropora cervicornis to offset their shrinking habitat due to climate change. As a component to range expansion, he is examining the physiological effects of cold-water bleaching on corals.
