M.S. Student
Marine Biology and Ecology
Daisy graduated from the University of Oxford with a B.A. in Biological Sciences in 2016. She spent 2017 becoming a Divemaster and interning at the Cape Eleuthera Institute, where she worked on Acropora restoration and researched parrotfish fisheries and the use of crabs in aquaculture. Daisy started in RSMAS's Marine Biology and Ecology programme as an M.S. student in August 2018. She is currently researching the mechanisms of stress-hardening (inducing changes in Symbiodiniaceae communities) in massive reef-building corals and the potential for restoration through re-skinning reefs with stress-hardened tissue.
