Postdoctoral Fellow
Marine Biology & Ecology
Ana conducted her Ph.D. in the Coral Reef Futures Lab from 2013 – 2019 funded in part by a Colciencias scholarship from the Colombian government. Her research used a combination of field and laboratory experiments to understand the effect of multiple environmental stressors, such as elevated nutrients and CO2, on corals response to heat stress. Ana is now a National Research Council postdoctoral research fellow at NOAA/AOML working on the genetic basis of disease resistance in corals.
